B303.     Introduction to Missions:  Missions was born in the heart of God and should occupy a central place in the life of every believer and every church. This course seeks to move beyond the need for missions, since that is understood, and confronts the individual Christian with his responsibility in the light of God’s world plan. Instead of the more usual chronological or biblical theological approach, a systematic theology or doctrinal approach would be followed. In so doing, the great Bible doctrines are examined, especially with reference to their missionary implications and teachings.  This course is accompanied by ten 80 min. CDs

B304.    Counselling II: This course seeks to integrate the various aspects of counselling to make it a meaningful whole. The theory of counselling is given; comparisons are made with secular psychology and various Christian models are presented and evaluated. In addition, this course provides practical methodologies for common counselling situations.    

Major Learning Outcomes:  To be able to apply sound ministerial ethics in  counselling situations; to be able to understand and apply basic counselling skills in the areas of physical illness, child rearing, and guilt; to be able to identify and describe the characteristics of the major mental disorders; to have the ability to effectively counsel others in trauma situations; to be able to offer advice to those who are experiencing sexual difficulties; to counsel teens: to be able to apply premarital and marital counselling; to be able to discern which secular psychological principles and methods are consistent with biblical values; to be able to skilfully conduct a counselling session.

B305.    Pastoral Leadership:   This course brings together several areas of ministry in which the pastor is involved in leading church. With the exception of the first three lessons which deal with worship, each lesson is a summary of a subject about which whole books are written. The lessons dealing with various subjects are not exhaustive, but the intention is to present the significant points in the areas which will be most helpful to the pastor.

B306.     Sermon Preparation: This course deals with the art/discipline of planning your preaching; it emphasizes the development and refining of skills in choosing a subject, preparing an outline, and using illustrations for effective preaching.

B307.     Self Assurance:  This course puts to rest the absurd notion that Christians should have long faces and short pocketbooks. B308.     Comparative Religion 1 This course is designed to present data on the misinformation being spread by cultic leaders of our times. It will also be a ready reference for the earnest Christian seeking to share the truth of Jesus Christ with cultists.

Major Learning Outcomes: opportunity to examine the real and basic differences between orthodox Christianity and some of the major religions and cults of the world; to consider the application of godly traits and characteristics of other faiths while examining the differences; ability to compare orthodox Christianity with other faiths in order to help Christians better understand their own beliefs; to be able to effectively and confidently defend personal beliefs.

B309.     Bible Survey: This course is presented in three studies – Law and History of the Old Testament (Genesis to Esther), Poetry and Prophecy of the Old Testament (Job to Malachi) and Survey of the New Testament (Matthew to Revelation).  It is designed to provide the student with a broad overview of the Old and New Testaments. This knowledge is essential preparation for effective teaching and preaching of the Word of God.

Major Learning Outcomes: To gain familiarity with the significant peoples, places and events of the scriptures; to facilitate personal witnessing by making the message of the scriptures a part of the student’s personal life and relationships with others; to strengthen the student’s faith toward the Bible as the inspired infallible, written word of God; to inspire and challenge to future study.

B311.      Revelation: This is a multi-faceted study of the intriguing unfolding of the end  times. It is designed to provide the seeker after the truth with a broad overview of   the content of this prophetic book, in order that the message of comfort and encouragement may reach the heart as well as the intellect. Several schools of interpretation are discussed, along with principles of the interpretation of apocalyptic literature. The student is encouraged to read the set Scripture and to allow the Spirit of God to lead him into the truth of this Revelation of Jesus Christ given to the apostle John in the closing days of the first century.

B314.     Pastor’s Life and Duty: This course is primarily concerned with the life and work of the pastor as he leads the church in accomplishing its divine mission.

Major Learning Outcomes:  To understand the mission of the church; to determine the vital qualifications of the leader of the church- pastor; to study the ministries the  pastor must perform; to examine techniques he may employ in leading the church to accomplish its mission; to introduce the ministerial  student to the general area of pastoral ministry   that he might become acquainted with manuals and vital practical concepts which will encourage his continued study beyond the requirements of the subject.

B315.     Prophets of Israel:  This course is really an introduction to the prophetic institution of Israel. It shows how the prophets differed greatly from the priests in Israel’s religious practices; the latter represented sinful people before God, while the former received revelation from God and proclaimed the Word of the Lord. Although the major study deals with Isaiah, the course takes the student through the activities of all the Old Testament prophets and highlights their crises, judgments and hopes; introduces the second Isaiah, restoration of all things and the New Age.

Major Learning Outcomes:  To examine the theological teachings of Isaiah; to observe similarities between Micah and parts of Isaiah;  to discover that  even though the messages of Amos and Hosea resemble their basic emphases are different; to come face to face with the nature of prophecy and the prophets of both Israel and Judah; to become involved in the eschatological discourses of Hezekiah; to see Yahweh as Judge, the Suffering Servant  and Saviour ; and to take a futuristic look into the New Age.

B316.    Faith is the Victory:  This course is not like any other. B319.     Computer Literacy II:  Computers have become an essential productivity and communications tool for the modern church leader. This course gives theory and practical application in the main areas of computerization needed in the pastoral ministry.

B324.     English ‘B’:  This English ‘B’ is an intermediate grammar course for students who are not confident in the background of English. It takes the student through basic grammar skills to proper composition writing.

Major Learning Outcomes: To enable the student to become proficient in basic grammar, especially for acceptable composition assignments; to enable the student to demonstrate confidence in his verbal communications and presentations; to motivate the student  to become creative and imaginative; to inspire the student to give further study  to linguistic requirements.

B325.     English ‘A’: This course provides a new model for learning the principles of discursive writing. It subordinates teaching to learning. Its premise is that what teaches is not teachers but experience. The Parliamentary Procedure section is an exceptional addition to this course to take the leader to effective ‘chair-taking’.

B326.     Demonology: This course has to do with unnatural powers and satanic dominion over intelligent being. It does not stop there but goes on to show God’s promise for deliverance. B401       Homiletics: This course involves preparation and presentation of the gospel message with detailed explanation of how to build and deliver a dynamic sermon.  The student will be taken through the process of planning, preparing and presenting effective sermons.  It is also a highly practical course which requires the student to develop and deliver several sermons.

Major Learning Outcome: The student will understand the skill of preaching, the proper selection of relevant scriptures, accurate interpretation, and use of illustrations in the preparation of the sermon; to learn how to structure the sermon and how to use effective style and delivery; to know the difference between topical and expository preaching and to understand the implication of  both approaches; to develop a preaching check list; to be able to utilize the results of sound exegesis in formulating the key thought in a preaching portion of scripture; to be able to construct a purpose statement and sermon structure; to be able to develop effective introductions and conclusions; to be able to apply the techniques of pulpit speech; to have knowledge of the cultural context in the homiletic process and to be aware of the challenges of open air preaching; to be able to evaluate sermons of great preachers.

B402.     Elemental Theology: An introduction to the theological stance of Christianity from a strictly biblical point of view.

Ten areas of theology are studied bibliology, theology, Christology, pneumatology, anthropology, hamartiology, soteriology, ecclesiology, angelology and eschatology.

Major Learning Outcomes: The student will be able to identify the major beliefs of each division of Elemental Theology from a strictly biblical standpoint; this will enable him to apply the doctrines of the church to his own life; to be able to defend his faith; an appreciation of the historic development of elemental theology with the application of God’s purposes; to have an understanding of the current schools of theological thought.

B403.     World Geography for Missions: This course is a geographic and historic introduction to lands and peoples including Africa, Asia, South America and Islamic countries.  Its focus is on specific spiritual needs. The goal is to develop in the student an understanding of many cultures so he/she can love, pray, and evangelise according to the great commission given by Christ to go into all the world and preach the gospel. 

Major Learning Outcomes: To be able to develop an understanding of non Western cultures for easy communication; to be able to develop an appropriate strategy for successful interaction on the mission field; to be prepared to minister in an environment which is different from Western Countries; to the importance of understand the spiritual needs of people; to learn about the demographs of these countries for missionary purposes.

B404.     Biographies of Christians: This course centres around the inspirational life stories of David Livingstone, Jim Elliot, Dr. Helen Roseveare, Spurgeon and others.  It provides a variety of Christian life situations from which the student can be motivated to take example.

Major Learning Outcomes: At the end of this course, the students would have become familiar with and have shared the life experiences of five influential characters of the past; pattern their lives and ministry after the strength of character, determination and sacrifices made by these persons in the name of Jesus Christ; to be motivated to answer the call of world missions.

B405.     Missionary Field Service: The student makes special arrangements with the College for a two to four week placement on the mission field.  The purpose is to gain experience of the role of the missionary in new situations.  How to form relationships, communicate with leaders, appreciate cultural differences and share the gospel. The student would be asked to keep a diary to record the experience on a daily basis, and examine responses of all parties involved in this interaction. Prayer is a necessary component of this course.

Major Learning Outcomes: To ascertain whether the mission field is his calling; to learn the dynamics of preparing for the mission field; to gain first hand experience on the mission fields; to use opportunity to establish new relationships; to appreciate cultural differences; ability to establish and maintain record keeping; to integrate prayer into the mission field experience as an effective tool.

B406.     Elements of Music: This is a basic course to teach the student to read music and to begin or maintain a church music program.  The staff notation, rhythm patterns, terminology, signs, keys, intervals and other language of music are dealt with.  Playing a simple instrument and singing at sight are also included in the course.

Major Learning Outcomes: The student will be able to read simple pieces of music; sing the tunes, and play basic pieces with confidence; to develop students to read choral music, count correctly and sing rhythm patterns; to lead a more vibrant music department including choir and basic  accompanists on a variety of small instruments.

B407.     Counselling III: Some of the basic theories and techniques of Christian Counselling are taught by book and CDs in this course.  Special emphasis is given to the recognition and the treatment of the more common psychological problems.  A scriptural perspective on personal problems is presented and blended with sincerity to deep human needs.  The student is taught to identify the negative feeling which added to negative behaviour is a result of wrong thinking.  Change is recommended through teaching what, why and how of wrong thinking, and how wrong thinking can be corrected.  The fundamental belief that man is made in the image of God is expressed. The course stresses that God is personal and man needs to recognize this connection with this personal God.  Failure to do this leads to problems.  This course is accompanied by three 80 min CDs.

Major Learning Outcomes: To be able to identify negative feelings; to have ability to guide the counselee to address these negative behaviours and problems; to skilfully apply a biblical model for counselling with God at the centre together with modern psychological theories and practices; to be able to recognize the more common psychological problems and use learnt skills to effect change.

B408.     Testing of Faith Hebrews, 1st & 2nd Peter, James and Jude: This is a thorough study of the teachings and advice given to the early Christians whose faith was being sorely tested during the first century.  The study presents a high view of the deity of Christ, reflects the stringent moral demands upon the Christian life, warns against false doctrine and encourages Christians to be faithful.  Many examples of faithfulness are cited from the Bible to testify to the truth that trials will come but by faith these would be overcome by faithfulness and obedience to God.

Major Learning Outcomes: To encourage contemporary readers and believers to remain faithful in their allegiance to Christ in spite of the many challenges of modern times; to teach others to remain steadfast because of the anchor in Christ; to be motivated to give grateful service to God because of his great Salvation which requires such service; to be able to recognise and shun deceivers who present false teaching to the unsuspecting; to be able to use the word of God for discernment.

B409.     Basic Biblical Greek: This is a study in the first instance, of 120 Greek words from the New Testament.  Each word is defined and studied in its context as it relates to the Greek text.  Each Greek word is used as a key to unlocking the profound biblical truth which it expresses. Pronouncing the words is also part of this teaching process. Secondly, the student is introduced to Greek Grammar followed by suitable exercises.  This course is accompanied by seven 80 min CDs.       

Major Learning Outcome: The experience will be truly enlightening; the student will develop a dynamic understanding of the descriptive language in which the New Testament was written; by this will come a broader biblical understanding; the concept behind each word will form a big picture of the New Testament which cannot be seen when reading in the English King James version alone; the student would be able to link words which connect together into a single theme; a deeper appreciation of the English version and its links would encourage launching a lifetime of enjoyable Bible study.

B411.     Advanced Homiletics: This course sets forth clearly and logically a methodology of sermonizing, which might be likened to a process employed in a service laboratory, outlining step by step the process of preparing and delivering an effective expository sermon.  It stresses the importance of daily devotions and discipline and introduces the student to the main tools of study.  Methods of analysis, investigation, and interpretation are clearly explained.  The importance of a healthy lifestyle is highlighted.  Two 80 min CDs accompany this course.

B412.     Doctrines in the Book of Romans: This is a detailed exposition on the book of Romans.  The student would be studying fundamental truths of the gospel – the light and way unto the whole scriptures.  The student would be taught what God thinks about sin and his wonderful plan to save the sinner.  The course highlights how God moves beyond the saved and shows the wonderful things God has prepared for the Christians.  It emphasizes the authority of the Christians and shows how he can live above sin.  Topical studies on doctrines of Condemnation, Justification, Sanctification, Glorification and Righteousness would be dealt with in detail.  This course is accompanied by one 80 min CD.

B414.     Laws of Teaching: This course gives a clear and concise presentation of the seven basic laws and principles of teaching.  Biblical examples will be studied especially those employed by Jesus in this teaching ministry.

B415.     Music in Worship Service: This course teaches the student the techniques of developing a program of songs of praise and worship designed to involve the whole congregation in the joy of personal participation. It points out the strongholds of the enemy and advances spiritual weapons of warfare to the student; this course also clearly defines the principles of praise, thanksgiving and worship.  This course is accompanied by ten 80 min CDs.

B416.     Doctrines of the Bible: This course stresses the importance of doctrine while giving a succinct definition of it.  It details what is God like and gives expressions to the angelic world.  The student will be required to study the Biblical doctrines presented with close reference to the Bible so that he or she can develop his or her own help sheet of references on each topic.  It also deals at length with the inspiration of the Bible, the Holy Spirit, the nature and depravity of sin, salvation of the church and what the future holds.

B417.     Strategies for Pastoral Leadership: This is an advanced course in organizing and administering a church.  It includes research on the roles and qualifications of the three offices of the Early Church as models and advances methods of ensuring that the whole congregation is actively involved.  It teaches the importance of how to and why planning is important in pastoral ministry.

Major Learning Outcomes: To become fully aware of the need for strategic planning for the church to function successfully in all areas; to be able to use Biblical management principles and proven promotion techniques, for a more effective, efficient and fruitful church ministry; to be able to perform a comparative analysis between the early Christian church of Elders, Deacons and Deaconesses and the present church; ability to plan and develop a church organization that will ensure for active involvement of the entire congregation; to have the knowledge to expedite the process of “putting the church to work”; to acquire the knowledge of bringing stabilization to the organization and maintaining it; to show expertise in developing a church administration portfolio; to learn the necessary steps to effective delegation so leaders will have more free time; to become skilled in writing effective, persuasive advertising; to discover what to look for when selecting leaders; to learn to handle pressure and criticism; ability to learn powerful planning principles so that deadlines would never be missed.

B418.     Advanced Counselling: This course aims to equip the student to minister in crisis situations such as shock, attempted suicide, domestic quarrels, depression, death, divorce, adolescence and various disorders.  It will teach the student to determine crisis and how to apply Biblical principles in such situations.  This course is accompanied by four 80 min CDs.

B419.     Creative Bible Teaching:  This course deals with basic principles and methods of effective Bible teaching. It is a sort of bridge building resource and presents a    practical model for teaching that would renew enthusiasm for teaching the Word of God.

B420.     Church History: This course presents the history of Christianity from the early medieval period to the decline of Eastern Christianity. The approach used is maintaining a chronological continuity without losing the student in historical details. As it explores church history it identifies the movements, men, principles and innovations that had the greatest impact on today’s church.

Major Learning Outcomes:  Ability to trace doctrinal, ecclesiastical, and missionary developments in early and medieval Christianity; to become familiar with the present church organization for a better understanding of historical developments; to become acquainted with the major distinctive thoughts of the various historic schools of   theology; to examine the major creeds established within the history of   the Christian church; to develop an appreciation for men, movements, principles and innovations that had the greatest impact on today’s church..

B421.     Studies in the Pentateuch:   Studies in the Pentateuch, the first five books of the Old Testament, is the first course in the series on the Old Testament studies. It includes special introductory matters and theological interpretation of the books of Moses.

Major Learning Outcomes:  To understand the general structure and purpose of the Book of Genesis and its relation to God, man and the world; to understand the purpose for which man was created and the tragedy of his disobedience to God’s commands;  to understand that sinful man is incapable of delivering himself and must look to a merciful, redeeming God for reconciliation; to appreciate the place and purpose of Abraham in God’s redemption plan; to examine the faithfulness of God in the midst of unfaithfulness; to recognize God’s providential care for his people; to learn the historical circumstances leading to the enslavement of God’s people; to have knowledge of the steps of Israel in becoming a nation; to become acquainted with Israel’s institution of worship as the nation grew in worship and faith.

B422.     Manners and Customs of Bible Times: This is a revealing and informative study of the daily life in Bible lands, giving valuable insights for both sermon preparation and Bible Study. It opens up the Biblical world from the patriarchs to Roman Palestine.

B423.     Divine Healing:  Since Jesus and His disciples spent so much of their time healing, Christians of today need to understand the implications for us in this area. This course addresses this subject in both a theoretical and practical way.

Major Learning Outcomes: To consider healing and wholeness as taught and practiced by Jesus and the New Testament church; to learn  how Christians today maybe ministers  of healing and wholeness to persons who are broken physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

B424.     Holiness:  The dominant theme of this heart – moving course is the need for increasing pursuit by believers for holiness of life, which God alone can make possible. It shows that the whole of life must be permeated with the holiness of a thrice-holy God. This course is accompanied by six 80 min CDs

Major Learning Outcomes:  To gain an understanding of the Biblical concept of personal holiness; to clarify the real issues which are involved in daily Christian living; to strengthen faith in God through the study of many passages of Scripture which speak directly to the issues confronting those who endeavour to live holy lives in an unholy world; to examine suggestions for changes in personal habits structured to foster growth in personal holiness and self discipline.

B425.     Synoptic Gospels: This course is basic to Pastoral training and Christian living.  Its focus is the Gospels, which set forth Christ’s life and ministry, the centre of the Bible.

Major Learning Outcomes: Familiarity with the life and teachings of Jesus Christ; an ability to integrate his life with his teachings; an understanding of why he said and did what he did; an understanding to apply his teachings in personal and church life; to become acquainted with the introduction of critical matters; to learn the historical framework of the ministry of Jesus.

B426.     Fundamentals of Christian Growth: This course introduces the basic tenets of the New Testament Christianity.  By establishing who the believer is in Christ and what he can do through him, it also lays the ground work for a confident life of faith and action.

                Major Learning Outcomes: Knowledge of the scriptures concerning the supernatural nature of God’s word; the nature of God’s righteousness; the miracle of transformation and freedom from sin;  to appreciate the rest of God; to have the knowledge of steps to developing faith and the part healing plays in Christian growth.

B427.     Missionary Strategy: This course is designed to set some guidelines for a missionary strategy that is both evangelical and biblically oriented, preparing students for today’s indigenous mission thrust.  This course is accompanied by six 80 min CDs.

                Major Learning Outcomes: To understand the importance of planning and prayer in missions; to investigate 19th century strategists and structures of missions; ability to determine and structure a mission’s program; to have an understanding of the “peoples concept” and the time remaining; to become knowledgeable of the 10/40 window; to have an understanding of the dynamics of cross-cultural disciple making and preparation of unique strategies of ministering;  to have the ability to facilitate gospel oriented social  programs .

B428.     Spiritual Warfare: This is a challenging course dealing head on with sin in us, the sort of sin that prevents and holds us back from fulfilling God’s purpose.

                Major Learning Outcomes: To be challenged to address areas in one’s life that do not meet God’s standards; to dissect the seven deadly sins as the ancients describe them; to understand their causes and means to overcome them; to be able to teach and lead to the foot of the cross; to be able to be better equipped to help others who struggle to live lives pleasing to God; to become keenly aware of the reality of the invisible kingdom and the war that continually rages there.

B429.     Managerial Finance and Accounting for Ministry: This course provides leadership, especially non financial leaders/administrators wit an understanding of the areas of accounting and finance so as to enable them to fulfil their strategic role more effectively.  The aim of the course is not to convert the student into an accountant but to give him an understanding of accounting and finance.

Major Learning Outcomes: To have an appreciation of the activity covered by financial and accounting management; to be able to illustrate how net profit before tax is completed; to have an understanding of the balance sheet and cash flow statements; to provide an understanding of the principles of budgetary control.

B430.     Ministering Cross-Culturally: This course provides an insight into the tension and conflict that missionaries, pastors and laypersons experience when they attempt to minister to and with people who are from different cultural and social backgrounds.  It gives guidelines for effective ministering.

Major Learning Outcomes: To become far more sensitive to people and their cultures; to understand that God is not a tribal God; to understand that the church is one body that breaks down the walls of ethnicity, class and nationalism that divide humans into warring camps; to finally provide young missionaries with some basic tools for understanding other cultures and for understanding themselves better as they enter other cultures.

B431.     Institutional Ministries: This course teaches the student the qualifications and the proper way to start and maintain an Institutional Ministry.  It is a practical course.

Major Learning Outcomes: To acquire the basic knowledge on counselling people who are institutionalised; to have a basic knowledge of approach to the officials of an institution in order to start a specific ministry; to learn the difference in mentality of those who are in institutions so that they can be properly ministered to.

B432.     Church Planting and Church Growth: This course rests on certain pre-suppositions that one, the student has already completed the course ‘Ministering Cross Culturally’ - # 430, and two, that the student is operating out of the gifts and abilities that God has put in him and is searching to develop church planting strategies and principles that matches those abilities.  This course teaches those principles and also points out the major pitfalls to avoid. (The Hausa people of West Africa is CCBI’s adopted people).

Major Learning Outcomes: To learn eight main areas from which church multiplication springs; to become acquainted with ten major view points for church reproduction; to be able to develop forms and charts for monitoring activities multiplication and launching teams; to become familiar with the tenets of starting a new church; to be able to organize and launch teams; to be able to train pastors/missionaries; to become acquainted with the meanings, models and methods of contextualization.

B433.     Counselling in Diversity: This course is a practical and biblical guide for all who engage in diversity counselling.  It sets forth the issues, principles and interventions of counselling especially in terms of marriage, counselling and family therapy.  The course highlights seven major challenges that face counsellors, builds on them and issues ten biblical principles for the effective therapeutic process.  Biblical techniques for treatment are also dealt with in detail.  The course teaches the principles of becoming a skilled people helper.  This course is accompanied by fifteen 80 min CDs.

Major Learning Outcomes: To be able to address the seven issues and their implications that often arise in the context of counselling; to become familiar with the ten main principles that should be followed in developing an effective therapeutic process; to learn how to effectively employ the skills of biblical techniques in therapeutic interventions; to learn to appreciate the significance of the Holy Spirit in counselling; to learn the temperamental types of people and determine the therapeutic processes; to develop the skill of helping people recreate strategies to get what they want and need in the ameliorization process; to become equipped to counsel people with their unique cultural background. 

B434.     Counselling Practicum: This is a very practical course.  The student would be engaged in actual counselling situations to be critiqued by a trained counsellor.  Both the student and trained counsellor would submit reports on the process.  This is a good opportunity for the student to apply all the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the counselling major.

B435.     The Spirit Filled Life: This course gives the student a thorough knowledge and comprehension of the person and ministry of the Holy Spirit, the seven spirits of the Lord, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the gifts and fruit of the spirit, and the Spirit filled and Spirit – led life.  The course is not merely to give student a better mental appreciation or intellectual knowledge of the Holy Spirit, but that the student comes to know the Holy Spirit in a new and intimate way.

Major Learning Outcomes: To give the student a solid knowledge and understanding of the Holy Spirit as the third member of the Trinity in all of his facets; to assist the student in applying the gifts contained in the textbook to his/her life, so that he will have the fruits and gifts of the Spirit worked out in his/her life, which would enable him to be an effective leader in the Body of Christ; to help the student develop a closer and more personal relationship with the Holy Spirit; to enable the student to effectively teach and input the many precious truths of the study of the Holy Spirit to others.

B437.     The Christian Family I: The Christian Family is the basic unit of the church.  Today, the family is coming under ever increasing pressure. This course will provide the student with biblical data concerning the family structure and relationship as well as practical methods of developing a healthy Christian Family.  The approach takes the family from “before the ring” ensuring a unique, single and whole being enters the marriage circle.

Major Learning Outcomes: Knowledge of what the bible teaches concerning singleness, the family unit, marriage and divorce; an understanding of the roles within the family; an appreciation of the major forces which are destructive to the Christian Family.

B446.     Bachelor Thesis: The student will use as many references as are available to prove or disprove a clearly stated theory of the chosen major. The proposed subject, thesis statement and method of development must be submitted for approval before writing the thesis. The finished work should be approximately 8,000 words typed, of display quality including appropriate fastening and cover, following guidelines in the Quick and Easy Guide to “Writing Your A+ Thesis” - Research and Education Association Manual.  The college will keep the original copy of thesis; student must retain at least one copy for security.

Major Learning Outcomes: To understand the definitions, key elements and characteristics of research; understand theological research using various methodologies; to formulate and submit a detailed thesis proposal for a Bachelors thesis.
